366 Days of Making Art

Day 23

I couldn't sleep until 3:30am last night
And I didn't even just get up and compose, like a normal insane artist.
Opportunity lost.
Up around 8am
So exhausted.
I can barely remember this morning.
Looking at my google history,
it started on instagram - then moved swiftly to researching the different English translations for Herman Hesse's, Siddhartha.
I'll be getting a tattoo on Thursday,
& that's all I'll say about that for now.
Started composing at 10:40am
Flute solo,
Break from 12:40-1:40 for lunch and general listening
Started back by grabbing my guitar and composing a portion of the album.
Shoegaze catharsis.
Major Success - as I've been avoiding this.
After maybe 45 minutes of that while taking notes and recordings on my- Sony icd-bx132,
I got back to the flute solo - until 5:40pm.
6 hours total of composing today.
I'm no Carter, or Takemitsu - but done is all I need,
and it should be by my self imposed deadline of August 2nd.
I start recording all of Psalm 23 on Tuesday.
No Piano practice, No articles, No exercise, and entirely too much coffee.
Will be meditating and doing yoga after I'm finished with this.
God I hope I can sleep tonight.

See you tomorrow lovelies
