366 Days of Making Art

Day 43

up at 6am
Not 5am
after going to sleep at midnight.
morning journal coffee meditate
No yoga.
Bike ride to tin roof at 9am for some breakfast tacos and reading some of
Making a Story Brand, by Donald Miller.
A book recommended by many,
Including Seth Godin in, This is Marketing.

Home by 11:30am where I proceeded to crash
HARD.
Managed to do some laundry and laid down
watching Genndy Tartakovsky's
PRIMAL.
First time I've laid in bed watching cartoons since I can remember.
That show is art though I'll tell you that.

Eventually lured myself off of my bed after 2 hours and sat down to

DO MY WORK.

Made some lee-way when I found a pdf of the available bisbigliando/timbral trill alternate fingerings for flute.

A-Mazing

Even better

I found a downloadable font that allows me to create png vector graphics of flute fingering charts within my scores (or microsoft word for that matter).

I was not planning on it but I went to a meeting at recovery dharma,
then ate almost a whole little Caesars pizza before getting ready for bed.
Just being honest so that I can hold myself accountable.
Keep going.
Looking like I need a good fast soon to show my stupid
dopamine driven ape body who's in charge.

Moved on to getting the performance notes taken care of.
One thing about contemporary music is the composer always has to offer an explanation for the madness.
But I love it.
And working with performers

3 more days till the final deadline and I'll send it off to the flute professor at boise state to see if I can get it performed.

See you tomorrow lovelies.
