I did art today.

I woke up on the hardwood floor and recorded bits of the choir piece my mind was feeding the environment in my dream.
I was singing along with someone. specific harmonies against a held upper pedal point.
I've hear music in my dreams before.
Just last week I knew I should have gotten up to grab my little idctaphone.
But I didn't
I'm gonna seriously have to start investing heavily into lucid dreaming.
Used to do it regularly.
I love writing music in my sleep.

The rest of the day was just running around.

Got a volume swell pedal for ambient pads on the lap steel.
And a usb-c to usb connector for my Maschine MK2
Given that its nearly 8 years old the pads arent as responsive and two are basically dead.
These are known to be extremely easy to fix so tomorrow I'll tear it apat,
clean the contacts
and be satisfied in a job well done.
I already needed contact cleaner for the pots in my dead grandpas 
slide guitar.

So late.
So many misguided actions today.
Have I given up?
No.
But I'm definitely sleeping in my bed tonight.
Last night I slept on the floor again just because I didn't want to take all the books I'm reading off of it.
