Done with basic geometry and onto pre algebra. Starting to learn things I remember spacing out about in high school. It’s definitely different now. Memorizing equations is still the tricky bit.
The mind is not fixed.
I 100% learn easier now than in highschool. It could be a lot of things. But still…
Growth mindset.
And as for the transcription business. I’m loving the daily exercises. Creating pleasing melodies are coming easier and being able to play them quickly by ear on a piano is a no brainier necessity. On piano for notation, but on the guitar it’s more voice-like which fits the transcription of vocal melodic improvisation.
